What is Toneveld?

Toneveld is a field for sound culture.

In a world built around attention — around the fleeting moment that generates the all-important click — music is rarely perceived as an artistic statement, a source of inspiration, or an expression of individuality.

Toneveld embarks on an attempt to reclaim this depth and the concentration on the conscious perception of music - along with its statements and stances. We are a field for machines, sources, records and texts.
We collect and build things that can become starting points: audio machines with character, rhythm boxes, visual transformations as well as sound sources, textures and some words to read. All is about choosing something carefully and staying with it long enough until it becomes personal.
